€18,00When talking about exceptional terroir and precisely processed coffee, you cannot miss Colombia. After offering some very experimental and fruit cultured coffees from this origin, we’re introducing a washed coffee that perfectly showcases its terroir and the Red Bourbon variety.
Finca Las Flores is located in Huila region which provides a perfect blend of fertile soils, high altitude, and an ideal climate for cultivating specialty coffee. Here, Jhoan Manuel Vergara Ayure produced this beautiful micro-lot of washed Red Bourbon.
Hand-picked at optimal ripening points with brix degrees of 22-26°, the cherries were then disinfected and fermented in plastic bags for 12 hours and then for another 24 hours in tanks. Following fermentation, the coffee was dried in hermetically sealed stainless steel dehumidifiers until reaching moisture levels of 11%. The result is a super creamy cup, full of cherry notes and donut sweetness.
